The world's guide to hammocking
Find the best hammocks, the best places to hang and everything you need to enjoy the outdoors from a different angle.
Why we exist
There are great forums for technical hammock camping, DIY gear and suspension deep-dives. We love them. Let’s Go Hammock is for everyone else too: the backyard napper, the beach hanger, the weekend camper and the person who just bought their first hammock and wants to know where to take it.
So we don’t just review hammocks. We help you figure out where, when and how to use one.
What you’ll find here
- Destinations scored for Hammockability, with the actual hammock rules and sources.
- Gear reviews with one comparable score across every brand.
- The Hammock Guide for beginners, plus tools like the hang calculator.
- Find a Hang, the Hammock Map and the Trip Planner.
Ownership & independence
Let’s Go Hammock is owned by LISS (Living in Sunshine), which makes the GO Hammock. We tell you that up front because it matters when you read a review.
Here is how we handle it:
- We review every brand on the same criteria: ENO, Kammok, Hennessy, Warbonnet, Dutchware and more.
- We list LISS products with their specs, but we don’t score or rank them ourselves. Any LISS product page carries a disclosure.
- Brands can’t pay for a score or a ranking.
- We don’t use affiliate links. “Check price” goes straight to the brand’s own site, and we earn nothing when you buy.
- Sponsored content, when we run it, will always be labeled as sponsored.
About our scores right now
Gear scores are currently provisional: built from manufacturer specs and broad review consensus while hands-on testing is underway. We’ll mark each review as tested once it is. Destination rules come from official sources where they exist, and every rules box tells you how sure we are and when we last checked.
Hang responsibly
Wide straps, healthy trees, low hangs and Leave No Trace. The more considerate hangers there are, the more places stay open to hammocks.
