The Fargo Park District marks National Hammock Day with a laid back afternoon and evening near the Island Park gazebo. A limited supply of hammocks is available to borrow on site for free, so you do not need your own. Expect relaxed music and a sweet treat, tied to Park and Recreation Month. The 2026 edition ran Wednesday, July 22, from 3 to 8 p.m. Bring a blanket and come hang for an hour.
