Hoosier Fall Hang
An easy walk in fall hang at Terrell Pond in Indiana's Hoosier National Forest. A great first group hang with veterans ready to help.
Indiana hangers head into the Charles C. Deam Wilderness area of the Hoosier National Forest for a late October weekend at Terrell Pond. It is an easy hike in from the fire tower down the forest service road. Water may be available at the pond but you need a good filter. Organizers call it a great place for beginners, and the veteran hangers are happy to help with setup. Bring fall layers, a filter, and gear you can carry a short distance.
