Texas Fall Hang
The Texas Hammock Hangers' big annual fall hang, which once drew close to 170 people. Planning happens in their Facebook group.
For years the Texas Fall Hang filled Fairfield Lake State Park on the weekend of the second Saturday in November. Campers reserved their own sites through the state park system and came together for food, prizes and gear swaps. Fairfield Lake's status changed in recent years, so the current venue may be different. Check the Texas Hammock Hangers Facebook group for this year's plan before you book anything. It has historically been very beginner friendly.
