Yates Place Fall Back Hang
A laid back, family friendly fall hang in North Carolina's Uwharrie National Forest. Dogs on leash, tents and newcomers all welcome.
Phantom Grappler and the NC Hammock Hangers host this hang at Yates Place Camp near Troy every fall, timed around the end of daylight saving time. It is car camping in the Uwharrie woods with firewood delivered and a vault toilet on site. There is no water at Yates, so bring your own. Socialized dogs on leash are fine, and tent campers are welcome too. A relaxed pick for families and first timers.
