The spring edition of the relaxed Yates Place hang in the Uwharrie National Forest. Early season camping with a friendly crew.

Phantom Grappler hosts a spring hang at Yates Place Camp near Troy, usually in early March. Like the fall edition, it is car camping with firewood delivered, a vault toilet and no water on site. Dogs on leash and tent campers are welcome. Recent editions ran March 7 to 10, 2024 and March 6 to 9, 2025. Bring water, layers and a camp chair.
