South Carolina's Hammock Coast celebrates National Hammock Day with a free festival at the Hammock Shops Village. Expect vendors, live beach music, food trucks, a beer garden, kids' activities like face painting and cornhole, and drawings for an Original Pawleys Island Hammock. Official Hammock Day T shirts sell for about $10 while they last. The 2026 edition was Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring sunscreen and the whole family.
